“8 million gods”and manners of Japanese tea ceremony

The most familiar way of thinking in Japan is “8 million gods” which is Shinto.
This is the custom of ‘God dwells in everything’.
That’s why we feel awe and grateful for what we can’t see.
This is also found in the “thank the invisible” manners of Japanese tea ceremony.
For example, there is bowing in some situations.
This also means being grateful for everything, not just the person in front of you.
